My great-grandfather was born in Onslow Ct. NC. I am researching his family. According to my records, which have no documentation to back them up simply family lore, his name was Zadoc MARCY, his fathers name was Zadoc (Zadic) MARCY, his father's name was Edward Marcy, Jr., and his father's name was Dr. Edward MARCY. I would appreciate any help with documenting this info. All of my information places them at White Oak, NC. Where is this? I can't find it on the map except as a creek.
