Seek information on Onslow county marriage after date of 1755. Possible marriage of a Widow of CHARLES RYALL, named ANNA CHRISTIANA (maiden name unknown)Ryall, to a BAILLE surname. Anna Christina Baille or Bailey later appears in Effingham county, Georgia after her possible son ARTHUR RYALL removed to Georgia. She is listed there as the grandmother of one Moses Ryall.

Since last post have discovered precious little on my Melton's, perhaps this additional info. will help you match info up to mine? William's middle initial is "P" -- William P. MELTON. William P. MELTON & his wife Holland Elizabeth can be found in the 1860 Census of Wolf Pitt; in 1870 & 1880 he & his family are in Swansboro -- all in Onslow County.
Found more children on these various census records:
William (m. Miranda Smith, raised her nephew Benjamin Smith),
James E. (m. Nancy Jane Mason / Salter -- my ancestors),
Joseph (b. abt 1855),
Sally Frances (b. 1858),
Mary (b. abt 1844),
Elizabeth (b. abt 1846),
Sarah (b. abt 1854),
Lorenzo (b. abt 1844 & according to sources changed his name to David Williams & married Letitia Littleton), & Nancy (b. abt 1852).
Does this family connect at all with Solomon Melton seen often in the Onslow records? How about Richard in the 1790, 1800 & 1810 censuses? Who is Mary Ann Melton?
Inquiring mind, would love to know.

Searching for information and related families of William King b. 1747 listed on the Muster Roll of Continential Army of Onslow Co. NC in 1778. William King lived near several men in the 1790 census who also served in the Army.(This William King had 5 sons that were listed in his h/h, they could be Richard, Stephen, John, Ephraim and James King) They were Henry Mainer (Manor?), Jonathan Dixon and Jacob Brown. Based on land deeds I belived these men lived SW and NW of the New River (near Gum Branch). Believe this William King is the same that lived near Thomas and Solomon Henderson. I would appreciate hearing from anyone related to these families and might be able to confirm my thinking?
