Looking for any data pertaining to the SHAW family of Onslow Co. John SHAW b. 1730 near Raleigh, m. Mary DONALDSON, had several children, among them Alexander, Julian, William and Stephen, probably others. John Shaw was buried in NC. By the 1810-1820, many of John's children were living in Louisiana.

I am trying to find proof that the Jacob HUGGINS born NC and married Frances COOPER abt 1767 in NC and who died ca 1800 Onslow Co, NC is the son of Luke HUGGINS who served in the Revolutionary War. Any help appreciated. Luke Huggins wife was Eleanor. Jacob Huggins rec'd land in NC (100 acres) on 1 Mar 1780. Known children of Jacob and Frances...taken from Jacob's will (WBA56, NC State Archives): Jacob, Cooper, Lizanna, Purity, Luke, Ruth and Betsy. Any help appreciated:
