I am searching for information regarding Ann LEE who was born 26 Dec 1752 in Black River Settlement, New Hanover County, NC. She married Robert HENDRY in New Hanover County Feb 1778. All nine of their children were born in New Hanover County. The family moved to Georgia in 1796. Ann LEE died 31 May 1834 at Taylor's Creek, GA. I have been told that her dates do not match with that of Light-Horse Harry Lee nor Robert E. Lee. The only other name I have as possibly her father is Thomas LEE who was located in Onslow County in 1713. Ann's mother's name was also Ann.

Looking for parents and siblings of Ephraim KING who appears in the 1810 Onslow Co., NC census. Ephraim KING was b. 1781 and served in War of 1812 in Onslow Co., NC acording to his land grant records in Dale/Coffee Co., AL. Ephraim witnessed a land sale in Onslow in 1808 where a William KING sold land on Gum Branch to a Soloman HENDERSON. Ephraim was married to Sarah ??? B. 1793? and had the following known children, Henry, Olive, Harriet William. It is believe that Ephraim moved to Burke Co., Ga by 1820. There are many Surnames in Burke Co., Ga that are simliar to Onslow so I believe that many of these families moved together. Would appreciate hearing from fellow King researchers and others who have tracked their kin to Burke and Jefferson Co., ga an Alabama. Thanks .

I am interested in the James MURRAY whose deed to William EVANS was witnessed by Thomas MURRAY on 9 June 1757.(New Hanover Book D, p305.) Also, the Thomas MURRAY who lived in the New Hanover, Onslow, Duplin area (Holly Shelter and Angola Creeks) at this time. Particularly, anything about Thomas's antecedents and relations. What is the link between Thomas and James? For that matter, with which James MURRAY is Thomas linked, and how many of them were there? I find reference to as many as 3 Jameses (besides the Loyalist) in this general area at about the same time.

I am researching my Great Great Great Grandparents. We know my GG Grandfather was Thomas BARBER born in abt 1807 in North Carolina, his father may have been Joesph BARBER, who died and maybe raised by John BARBER the brother to Joesph. If there might be records of wills or deeds I would be glad to get a researcher. We know John was still in Onslow Cty in 1810, then moved to Wilson Cty, Tn. Please look and see if you have BARBER on your indexs.I would like to join a society if they have one for Onslow. Frances Garner
