Francis Joseph FULFORD married Ida HARGETT of Silverdale community on the Jones/Onslow Co. around 1875. He was a druggist in New Bern. They had two children: a son, Joseph Clarence, and a daughter, Julia May(e). He died at age 30 (1883), and is buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery in New Bern (grave site unknown). What happened to Ida Hargett Fulford and her two children? Does anyone know where they are buried--if there were grandchildren or present-day descendants? They would be 3d cousins to me, and I would love to see if I have other kinfolks from this line. Florence Fulford Moore

I'm looking for any person that has information on Peter ARNOLD born 1720, bought property in Onslow County NC in 1740, died there in the 1790's spouses name???? First known child, Bethany ARNOLD born 1749. She later married John CALLAWAY in 1767. Peter's second child, Levi ARNOLD born 1776 married Nellie HAWKINS 1800. They named one of their sons Stephen Burnap ARNOLD. Was the surname BURNAP connected to Peter's ARNOLD faimly by marriage? John and Issac BURNAP were neighbors of Peter ARNOLD and served with him in Captain Stephen LEE'S Company on Whiteoak River in 1754, belonging to Colonel John STARKEY'S regiment in Onslow County. An Elmer ARNOLD married a Sarah GRIFFEN in Onslow County in 1794. Was Elmer a son of Peter ARNOLD? Thanks a lot for any information on this family. F. R. Williams

Looking for where my HOWSE family originated. We had always heard Germany. However, all of the other HOWSE families on-line seem to be from England. I wouldn't mind being a descendant from England on this side of my family also, however, no one seems to know anything about a Buckner HOWSE or HOUSE who lived in Onslow, North Carolina. We have info of when he was living there and his children and all of his marriages, but we have nothing of who his parents were or where his parents came from. Buckner was born in Onslow, North Carolina in 1767. He died in 1851. His first marriage was to Rebecca Harrell and his second marriage was to Rosamond Averitt. Thanks, Barbara
