I am looking for information on Thaddeus WARD who m. Martha BREWER in Wilkes Co, GA in 1824 and who died in Wilkinson Co., GA in 1840. I believe Thaddeus was born around 1800 in NC. According to information from my now-deceased grandmother, he was the son of a Solomon WARD, whom she believed came from Onslow Co, NC. However, I have no documentation. In Georgia, these N. I'm looking for the family of David WARD who married Abigail SHEPARD. I don't know their birth dates or locations or their marriage info, although it's all in the 1700s. He died in Onslow county abt. 1799, his will is online at this site. Their children were: Obiah, Benjamin, Asenath, Ruth, Fanny, and Josiah. I'm descended from Obiah who married Thomas RUSSELL in 1792. Their children's names may provide a clue as to which WARD families they're connected to. Their children are: William JARVIS RUSSELL, David WARD RUSSELL, Daniel LINDSEY RUSSELL, Francis W. RUSSELL, Rebecca RUSSELL, Susannah JARVIS RUSSELL, and Benjamin WARD RUSSELL. If anyone has any knfo or just ideas where to look please let me know.
