Adeann married Issac J. WILLIAMS in 1853.He was born on 1813.I would like to know who his parents were and where he was born, and his occupation. Adeann and Isaac moved to Ark. in the 1870s and he died there in 1889.Adeann died in Prairie Cty Ark in 1910.Thank you for any information you can find.

a#COXCOXa#HOWARDHOWARD posted by Sydney Davis on Saturday, June 6, 1998

I have just browsed the COX family page with such interest! I am descended from James Benjamin HOWARD, whose sister Orpole (or Orpha) Caroline HOWARD, married the Charles COX who died in the hospital while assigned to Drewry's Bluff in the Civil War in 1802. James Benjamin HOWARD and Orpole Caroline HOWARD COX were the children of Edmond or Edmund HOWARD, who was a neighbor of the Cox family in 1850 and 1860, according to the census records of those years. Orpole and her infant apparently returned to her father's home to live while her husband was at the front. I have searched for several years for Edmund's forebears, but have not determined who his father and mother were. Do you know, or do you know someone who could tell me? Enjoyed your homepage. Thank you,

I am searching for ancestors, Richard Canada(Y) BELL, his wife was Margaret Ann SCOTT BELL. Her parents were Redding SCOTT AND Lovey. Redding SCOTT died in December 1860 and Richard BELL was the administrator. According to the estate papers some of the items were bought by a David L(?) BELL and a William F. BELL, III. They were from Whiteoak Township and Richard, Margaret Ann BELL AND Lovey SCOTT show up on the 1870 Jones Cty. Census. I wonder what the relationship between David, William F. And Richard is. Any help or direction you could lead me to would be greatly appreciated. Does Whiteoak Township exist?? Can't find on the map, Any old maps of it?? thanks

I have surfed all of the links in the Onslow Co pages in an effort to find someone who can point me in the right direction to get marriage records and marriage bonds on some EDENS EADENS and EDINS in Onslow Co but I still came up with a blank. Could you please tell me, if you know, where I can get this information or if you know someone who might be able to help me. I have found an index with the names of John EADENS April 9, 1781, James EDENS November 5, 1785, Mary Ann EADENS August 13, 1788, Ezekiel Eadens January 6, 1792 and Winney EDENS April 14, 1800 but that is all that I have.
