I am looking for a Sarah THOMPSON from Jones Co. who married a WHALEY and moved into Onlsow Co. They had nine children before she died, the first being my grandmother Queenie Whaley, and he remarried and had nine more, I would appreciate any information you could give me on this. I was told by my grandmother they were related to the TAYLORS.

I am researching Thomas NIXON and his wife Sarah (unknown last name) from New Hanover County, North Carolina. Thomas Nixon was born abt. 1746. I do not have much info. on him other than he was a Cpt. in the 8th North Carolina Bat. in the Rev. War. I have an unconfirmed rpt.. that he may have died Dec. 7 1782. Hello. I am looking for a cemetery which is said to have a row of EDWARDS buried in it. This is my husband's family. His father, who is 88years old, says that this cemetery is near Snead's Ferry at a Free Will Baptist church called MUDDY CREEK FWB. Looking for info on Robert Nixon of Onslow County, North Carolina. Robert was alive around 1750's. He was a saddler. My grandfather,many generations ago,was Nathan Morgan. At the age of 9 he was orphaned and his mother sent him to be an apprentice for Robert Nixon.Nathan was the son of Nathan Morgan and Sarah ? nathan stayed with Robert from the age of 9 until he reached 21.

Children are Steven H. b. 1866, Callie D. b. 1876, Andrew J. b. 1878, John W. b. 1880, Parker b. 1873. The children were all born in NC. Hi. I am researching the family of Isaac D. and Amanda LITTLETON. Does anyone have any information on them or their children. I have copies of the 1850 and 1860 Onslow Co. Census. My grandad's grandmother was Lettitia "Letta" LITTLETON, a daughter of Isaac D. and Amanda LITTLETON. She is on the 1860 Census at the age of 8 and I have a lot of information on her and her descendents but nothing about the rest of her siblings or parents. Looking for information on Moses COX who married as his second wife Elizabeth FOYLE; my interest is the FOIL / FOYLE family. Maybe this is the same Moses COX who was an executor for James FOYLE, 1771, Onslow. Moses COX is probably a better transcription than Miss Jun COX in my earlier query. James FOYLE had an unmarried daughter Elizabeth in 1771.
