I need a little help and thought maybe you could tell me where to find it. I am looking for niece that was born January 10, 1946 to Russell and Edna ROSS in Hollyridge, North Carolina. We have never seen her or heard from her would like to find her. My Brother is her father and he was stationed in North Carolina during World War II. Her name is Linda Faye. I am descended from Robert Courtney and Abigail and their son Reverand John Courtney and John's wife Mary Ussant. I would love to trade information. Robert Courntey's will was proved in Onslow County 1751 after moving here in 1744 and they lived in the Half Moon Swamp area.

BARROW Family of Onslo Co. I am looking for parents of Rebecca BARROW(1800-1848) who married Charles LOVE (1790-1828). Amos LOVE is listed in a 1790 census for Onslow Co, as were Abraham and Zacariah BARROW. I want to know if Rebecca was the daughter of one of these two men.

Please contact me if you have information about STEPHEN COSTIN or COSTON of ONSLOW COUNTY. He was listed in the DAR PATRIOT INDEX: COSTIN, STEPHEN, b. 1755 NC, d. p 9-13-1832, m. ABIGAIL BURNS, Pvt. NC, PNSR. In a DAR application in 1935, his descendent states that STEPHEN COSTIN resided in ONSLOW COUNTY during the Revolution. Enlisted 1779 in Captain William Gray's Company, in Colonel Matthews North Carolina Regiment, Discharged March, 1780. Enlisted 1780, served in Captain Daniel ytes North Carolina Regiment. Enlisted in 1781 in Captain Daniel Newton's Company, in Colonel John Spicers North Carolina Regiment. Allowed Pension Sept. 13,1832. Also see Colonial Record, Vol. 22, page 50, Book W #2, p. 50.
