I know my family came from Onslow but I don't know which Joseph MORTON is mine. On the 1790 Census 5 Morton's are listed 2 are named Joseph, Peter, Richard, and William. Could you find anymore info on any of them. My Great-grandfather was named Samuel and Grandfather was Joseph Holt Morton born in Owens, FL. Near Arcadia, Fl. That's about all I have at this time. If you can find out any thing I would appreciate it. Thank you,

My GGGF, Southey Littleton (b.abt. 1819) married Martha Hewitt (b.abt. 1825) in Onslow County. Is he related to the Southy Littleton granted land on W. side of Mill Swamp 1769 (entered 1767)? Southey and Martha appeared in the 1850 Cumberland Co., NC Census with Mary Ann (Southey's daughter) but disappeared in 1860. Martha, Mary and Mary's son Dexter appear in 1870 Wayne Co., NC Census. Where had they gone?

Cyrus GLOVER was my 3rd great grandfather and I am aware of his exhumantion some 23 or 24 years ago and his re-burial in 1997. Jean Edmundson, who went to Swansboro and re-buried him is my second cousin. Do you have any further information on Catharine (spelling from Will records in Raleigh) Jane's grave site or of the Hawkins family. Bazel HAWKINS was Catharine Jane's father and Ezeriah Hawkins was Bazel's father. Ezeriah was discovered when researching land records in Raleigh last fall. Thank you.

Am looking for ancestors of McClamey HEIDELBERG. Think he is related to Christian HEIDELBERG of Onslow Co. McClamey was b 1787 in NC; in 1830, 1840, and 1850 he was in Randolph Co, GA. John Christian Heidelberg (son of Christian) b 1727 in NC was married to Catherine MCCLAMMY thus the connection to Christian Heidelberg. Have a copy of "Descendants of Christian Heidelberg" but McClammy is not listed. Does anyone know how McClammy Heidelberg fits into this family? Thanks for any help. ...Wanda...
