Obituary of James Arthur Lee ~
JAMES A. LEE RITES HELD THIS AFTERNOON
Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel at
Jacksonville for James A. Lee, 57, formerly of New Bern, who died Sunday morning
at his home. Rev. Don Skinner officiated. Interment followed in Onslow Memorial Park.
He was chief clerk of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad in Jacksonville,
employed by the railroad for 20 years. Prior to leaving New Bern he was employed
by the Norfolk and Southern Railroad freight department.
Survivors are his wife, the former miss Viola Jones of Aurora; one son,
James Arthur Lee, Jr., of Jacksonville; his mother, Mrs. Sarah Lee, and one sister,
Mrs. Leonard McGee, both of Kinston.
FUNERAL TUESDAY
Jacksonville, Oct. 26 – Funeral services for James Arthur Lee, 56, will be
held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Jones Funeral Chapel by Rev. Don Skinner. Interment will
follow in Onslow Memorial Park.
