Will of Jonathan Dixon

  In the name of God Amen

  I Jonathan Dixon of the County of Onflow and State of North Carolina-being of sound and perfect mind and memory blefsed by God- do this 9th day of June in the year of our Lord 1808 make and publish this My last Will and testament in manner following, that is to say----

  First I give and bequeath to my son William Dixon one fether bed and furniture to him and his heirs for ever.

 Item I give and bequeath to my son Burrell Dixon one fether bed and furniture to him and his heirs forever.

 Item I give and bequeath to my son Aaron Dixon one fether bed and furniture one axe one grubbing hoe and wideing Ditto One large pewter dish one chest to him and his heirs forever.

 Item I give and bequeath to my son Henry Dixon one fether bed and furniture one chest to him and his heirs forever.

 Item I lend to daughter Elizabeth Meck one fether bed and furniture during her life and after her death I give the afsd bed and furniture and one chest to Nancy Evan daughter of Elizabeth Meck to her and her heirs forever.

 Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Aliff Dixon one bed and furnitureone large pewter dish one green chest one linning wheel and wooling Ditto. One large pot and hooks and tramal to her and her heirs forever.

 Item My will and desire is that all my stock of sheep and hogs and bees be equally divided between my son and daughter to w. Aaron And Aliff Dixon to them and their heirs forever.

 Item It is further my will and desire that after all my just debts is paid that ll the remaining part of my property not before given away be sold and equally divided between all my children.

 And I hereby make and ordain my sons Burrell and Aaron Dixon Executors of this my last will and testament in witnefs whereof I the valid Jonathan Dixon have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal.
