In the name of God Amen. I James King Senr., of the State and County aforesaid being of sound and perfect mind and memory Blessed be God on this 27th day of October 1836 make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following

Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Molsey King and five children namely Belinda, Miranda Ava John and Jesse all my beds and furniture to be equal divided amongst them with receiving an equal part of these of ____

Item I will and bequeath to to my daughter Belinda King a negro girl named Ana to have in possession during life thence to decend to the lawful begotten heirs of her body and if none to return to the surviving Brothers and Sisters of her ____ of spring namely Miranda King John B. King Ava King and Jesse King and their lawful heirs forever.

Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Ava a negro girl named Rosanna to have in possession during life thence to the lawful begotten heirs of her body and if none to return to the surviving Brothers and Sisters namely Belinda King Merenda King John B. King and Jesse King and their lawful begotten heirs forever,

Item I will and bequeath to My two sons John B. King and Jesse W. King 230 Acres of Land 130 laying on the North side of Hawes Creek named the Jonathan Jones place 100 Acres laying on the _____ on the East side thereof beginning at a cypres Each to receive and equal share thereof to have in possession During life Thence to the lawful begotten heirs of their bodies and if either should die without such Lawful heirs or heirs it should return to the surviving Brother and if Both should die without Lawful begotten heirs It should return to the surviving Sisters namely Belinda King Merenda King and Ava King and their lawful begotten heirs forever and I will and bequeath to my sons John B and Jesse W. a negro fellow named Landers to have in possession during life and thence to the Lawful begotten heirs if any and if none to return to the surviving Daughters namely Belinda King Merenda King and Ava King and to their Lawful begotten heirs forever and also I will and bequeath to my two sons aforesaid John B and Jesse W. after the Death of my beloved wife and a negro woman named Tessor and her increase if any from the present date to be divided at my son Jesse W. arriving to Twenty one years of age between them equally to have in possession during life and thence to the Lawful and begotten heirs of their bodies if any and if none to return to the aforesaid sisters namely Belinda Merenda and Ava and their heirs forever.

Item I will and bequeath that my beloved wife Molsey King shall have in possession my negro man Dick and two Negro women Tessor During her life and their increase and thence to return to my aforesaid sons namely John Band Jesse Warrd their Lawful heirs forever.

Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Craft one dollar to her and her heirs forever

Item I give and Bequeath to my Daughter Mary Sylvester one dollar to her and her heirs forever

Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Rachel P___ one dollar to her and her heirs forever

Item I give and bequeath to my son Jacob B. King one dollar to him and his heirs forever

Item I give and bequeath to my grandson Jacob Shepard one dollar to him and his heirs forever

Item It is my will and desire that all of my property not hereintofore mentioned should be sold and after paying my Just debts and funeral expenses the Balance to be equally Divided between my wife and Five children each receiving an equal share Lastly I make and ordain my worthy son Jacob B. King and in case of failure Thomas Mashborn executor of this my Last will and testament in testimony Hereunto I have set my hand and seal the day and date first above written signed and sealed in presence of
