The photo is the Bell house after the bridge was built taken 1941.from the from the end of the bridge.

I suspect this is the only postcard left. It was taken before the first stone bridge was built. The house in the background is the old Bell house which my grandmother Lizzie King Humphrey bought and is the house I was born in 1932 the address of the house became # 8 Old Bridge Street when the bridge was built. Again the date is not known Cir 1920. This house was moved when the First Baptist church bought the property.

This is a photo of the Old Jacksonville bridge, the weeping willows are on the property belonging to Eliza Morton it is the location of the Pelletier house unfortunately I can only guess at the photo date.Cir 1920 .

This overflow was in front of the Riverview Hotel at the end, it dried up when the Marine Base was built and began to use so much water. Photo 1941 again me. The State Theater was built in the lot behind the photo

These photos were taken in 1941 the oil truck is aligned with the side of the Riverview Hotel and the other photo shows the hotel and service station at this time the hotel was owned by B.J. Holloman
