Obituary of Willa Padgett Hartley ~ 2011

 
Holly Ridge, NC – Willa Padgett Hartley, 79, died Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 
Galichia Heart Hospital in Witchita, KS. Funeral services will be held on 
Sunday, 2:00pm at Sneads Ferry Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Bill Young 
officiating. 

Burial will follow at the Stump Sound Primitive Baptist Church Burying Grounds
in Holly Ridge. 

Willa retired from the City of Wilmington as the secretary for the Finance 
Department and had been a receptionist with Jones Funeral Home in Holly Ridge 
for the past 12 years. 

She is preceded in death by her son, Daniel Frank Hartley, Jr and a brother, 
John Padgett. 

Survivors include her daughter, Diana Goldman of Salado, TX; six grandchildren, 
Jason Hartley, Summer Hartley, Amber Hartley, Cameron Hartley, Daniel Goldman,
Scott Goldman; three sisters, Mary Piner of Holly Ridge, Sarah Hansley of 
Holly Ridge, Norine Pickle of Knoxville, TN; three brothers, P.H. Padgett of 
Holly Ridge, Ashley Padgett and his wife, Lynn of Holly Ridge and David 
Padgett and his wife, Joy of Wichita, KS.

The family will receive friends Saturday night from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at 
Jones Funeral Home, Holly Ridge.
