Obituary of Ophelia Rosalia Moore Austin ~ 2009

Ophelia Rosalia Moore Austin, 72, of Clinton died Tuesday, April 15, 2009, at 
Magnolia Living Center in Clinton.

She was born in Johnston County on Nov. 23, 1937, to Daussie Vann Moore and 
Letta Hudson. She was preceded in death by sisters, Eula M. Stephenson and 
Julia M. Byrd; and brothers, J.D. Moore and Corbett "C.L." Moore.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Hope Valley Funeral Service 
Chapel, Hobbton Highway, Clinton. Pastor Linda Gayle Wood will officiate. 
Burial will follow at Hudson Family Cemetery on Woods Crossroads Road off 
N.C. 242, Dunn.

Survivors include sisters, Lelecta M. Boyette of Clinton and Dora Mae M. Wade 
of Erwin; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home 
and other times at the home of Mary Emery, 1190 King Road, Clinton.
