Marjorie Simpson Bass, age 71, died Monday, September 26, 2011 in Pitt County 
Memorial Hospital, Greenville, NC 

Funeral Service held on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, 7:00 PM followed by 
visitation at Maranatha PFWB Church, Beulaville, NC. 
A graveside service was held on Thursday September 29, 2011, 11:00 AM at the 
Simpson Cemetery in Back Swamp, NC. 

Survivors are her Son, Charles Otis Bass of Wallace, NC, Daughters; Loreen 
Sumner of Pink Hill, NC, Loretta Shepard of Beulaville, NC and Debra Horrell 
of Beulaville, NC. Sisters; Rose Pate of Beulaville, NC, Brenda Taylor of 
Pink Hill, NC and Ione Melton of Pink Hill, NC. Brothers; Joe Simpson of 
Fayetteville, NC, James Simpson of Fayetteville, NC, Bobby Simpson of 
Beulaville, NC, Harold Simpson of Richlands, NC, Leon Simpson of Richlands, 
NC, Donnie Simpson of Beulaville, NC and Johnnie Simpson of Wallace, NC. 9 
grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. 

Community Funeral Home of Beulaville, NC served the family.
