THE TRIBUNE, New Bern, August 27, 1939 Obituary Kinston, August 26 - The funeral of Herbert Reece, 25, a tenant on the T. Lynwood Barber farm near Richlands who was found dead in bed at 9 a.m. Friday, was held from the home Friday afternoon. Burial was in the family cemetery on the farm. Mr. Reece had been in ill health some time. He resided with his mother, Mrs. Dollie Reece, who survives.
