Obituary of Ethel Reed Maready ~ 2007

 
BEAR CREEK — Ethel Reed Maready, 93, of Bear Creek, passed away Sunday, Oct. 
14, 2007, at Britthaven of Jacksonville.

Ethel was a devoted wife and lifelong member of Bear Creek Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bear Creek Baptist Church 
with the Rev. Terry Golden officiating.

Burial will follow at Burns Cemetery.

She is survived by her niece, Dolly and husband Dave Boling of Raleigh; 
nephew, Walter and wife Ruth Ann Reed of Hubert; grandnephew, Chris Boling; 
and special friends, Loretta Hix and family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas O. Maready; and special 
family friend Clifton L. Hix.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral 
Home of Swansboro.
