Obituary of Cora Maie Parker Darden ~ 2008

Jacksonville – Cora Maie Parker Darden, 80, died Saturday, December 6, 2008 
at Britthaven of Onslow. 

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Infant of 
Prague Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Thomas Davis. Interment will follow at 
Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lafayette and Cora King Parker and 
husband Thomas Darden. 

She is survived by a son, James “Tom” Thomas Darden of Jamestown, NC; three 
daughters, Priscilla D. Kent of Jacksonville, Barbara D. Greco of Hilton Head, SC, 
and Jacquelyn D. Myers of Cary, NC; four grandchildren, Ryan Thomas Darden, 
Amelia Claire Myers, Gwyneth Kate Myers, and Ainsley Darden Myers. 

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
